Our approach is very direct and personal. Analysis and strategy are the foundation of everything we do. We are curious and listen, we question critically, and we research meticulously and comprehensively. A challenge with no answer yet? Problems with no previous solutions? We love the blank sheet of paper. We act as catalysts for change – by breaking down thought patterns, developing solutions, and opening up new perspectives. We work agilely, collaborate with others, and design processes, platforms, and tools. We are a learning organization and are constantly evolving.
Responsible handling of donations and funding
As a non-profit limited liability company (GmbH), we can only finance our work thanks to trusting partnerships with foundations, funding institutions, and donors. Responsible and effective use of funding is fundamental to us. The needs of the supported organizations, in line with the funding or foundation purposes of the sponsoring organizations, guide us in the design and implementation of our projects.
Our framework for action: the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals
Our work is based on the Sustainable Development Goals set out in the 2030 Agenda. They encompass the economy, ecology, and society as interdependent systems – with 17 Sustainable Development Goals and 169 targets. This is ambitious and, in some cases, very complex. Our specialty lies in "translating" this mammoth task for each organization. We help to relate them to the respective organizational purpose or business model, apply them, and bring them to life.
