Job posting 1: Fundraising internship (3–6 months)

IMPCT is looking for interns who are keen to make a difference – focus on fundraising

IMPCT gGmbH is a non-profit sustainability platform based in Hamburg. For over 8 years, we have been supporting and accompanying NGOs, associations, foundations, and organizations on their path to a sustainable future. Our topics range from projects with children's and youth facilities to sustainable education initiatives and global sustainability standards in sports.

We bring together experts from all disciplines who not only know about sustainability, civil society, business, digitalization, fundraising, and innovation, but also actively shape them. Our goal: to promote sustainable change – and make social and societal innovations a reality.


Who we are looking for

Are you a student (e.g., social sciences, nonprofit management, sustainability, communication, or similar subjects) and want to make a real impact as part of a mandatory internship?

Do you want to learn how modern nonprofit organizations think about fundraising—boldly, creatively, effectively?

Then we are looking for you.

Your tasks

• Collaboration in operational and strategic fundraising

• Research on funding programs, foundations, and partnerships

• Support with applications and project management

• Preparation of presentations and fundraising concepts

• Support for ongoing IMPCT projects

• Contributing your own ideas, formats, and impulses

Your profile

• You are studying and completing a mandatory internship

• Interest in sustainability, civil society, and social innovation

• Structured, reliable way of working

• Enjoyment of research, writing, and communication

• Curiosity, creativity, and desire to get involved

• Team spirit and sense of responsibility

• Openness to an agile, dynamic work culture

Job posting 2: Project management internship (3–6 months)

IMPCT is looking for interns who are eager for change – focus on project management

IMPCT gGmbH is a non-profit sustainability platform based in Hamburg. For over 8 years, we have been supporting NGOs, institutions, and organizations in establishing sustainable structures, promoting social innovation, and implementing effective future-oriented projects. Our topics range from educational initiatives and neighborhood development to global sustainability standards in sports.

We bring together experts from all relevant disciplines who combine impact, civil society, business, digitalization, and innovation. Our goal is to actively shape sustainable change—boldly, creatively, and with a focus on impact.

Who we are looking for

Are you a student looking to gain practical experience in project management as part of a mandatory internship?

Do you want to learn how agile, impact-oriented projects in the nonprofit and sustainability sector are planned, managed, and developed?

Then we look forward to hearing from you.

Your tasks

• Support in ongoing IMPCT projects – from organization to implementation

• Collaboration in planning, project structuring, and process management

• Preparing presentations, procedures, and briefings

• Research and content preparation for different project phases

• Supporting monitoring, documentation, and quality assurance

• Collaborating on IMPCT projects such as Wirkraum, myhood, and others

• Taking on smaller work packages independently

• Contributing your own ideas, perspectives, and impulses

Your profile

• You are completing a mandatory internship as part of your studies.

• You are interested in sustainability, social innovation, and project work.

• You have a structured, responsible approach to work.

• You enjoy organization, teamwork, and communication.

• You are highly motivated to learn, reliable, and proactive.

• You are open to a dynamic start-up culture with flat hierarchies.
